Developing a strong internal sense of time is crucial for any individual responsible for maintaining the rhythm. While metronomes offer precise timekeeping, the reality is that we, as humans, do not possess such perfect timing. Our tempo tends to fluctuate.

Humanome is designed to help you recognize and adapt to irregular tempos, a skill necessary to synchronize effectively with other musicians who do not adhere to metronomic precision.

Humanome enhances your ability to play responsively and accurately—immersing you deeper into the groove—regardless of the external timing reference, be it a metronome, a click track, a drummer, a band, a sequence, or a track.

How It Works:

• Listening Emphasis: Humanome fosters attentive listening skills, guiding you to respond dynamically to fluctuating external time cues. Its variable clicks and limited session duration promote heightened concentration and involvement compared to traditional metronomes. Humanome emphasizes musical phrasing and accommodates odd time signatures.

Each Humanome session is randomly generated and distinct. A session typically lasts around 3 minutes and consists of three segments: an initial 2-phrase segment in straight time, the main portion featuring tempo variations, and a final 1-phrase segment in straight time.

Session Setup:

• Speed: Determines the initial tempo of the Humanome, ranging from 1 to 5.
• Intensity: Indicates how frequently the tempo changes.
• Beats per Measure: Specifies the time signature. By default, Humanome accents the first beat of each measure, a feature that can be disabled in More Settings.

To experience more extreme tempo changes, opt for the INHUMANOME mode from any Intensity setting, providing four additional intensity levels.

• More Settings:
• Measures per Phrase: Recognizing that many musical compositions feature 4 or 8-bar phrases by default, Humanome can be adjusted accordingly.
• *2 Multiplier: Doubles the Speed setting values from *1 to *5.
